for the right event, with the appropriate message

for Event
My
job is to make you look like a star for hiring me.
My value to your group is that I have spoken for
and consulted with hundreds of organizations - many
of which face the same challenges that you may have.
When you hire me, my main objective is to give your
group a relevant and exciting presentation, as well
as empowering them with tools they will utilize
immediately after my speech. I accomplish this by
understanding the needs, demands and challenge’s
your company deals with everyday. I'll be asking
you questions to help make your program a success.
Anticipating you also have questions to ask me,
I've prepared some pre-designed questions and answers
in advance.
How long is your talk?
However long you need it to be -- from one hour
to three days. I am capable of presenting all-day
seminars and multiple programs within the same day.
If necessary, can you cut or expand your presentation
at the last minute?
Absolutely! Because I’ve spoke to hundreds
of organizations, I’ve frequently had to cut
or lengthen my talk at a moment's notice. Before
hand we would agree to exactly how much time your
program needs to begin and end on time.
How can you effectively address more than
100 groups a year --
from different industries, associations and government
agencies?
The key word here is effective. I understand one
thing coming from a background of success coaching
and counseling. It’s all about results! Period!

What do you need from us?
When you decide I’m the best possible speaker
for your event, I’ll ask you to help me to
understand your group, organization, and market,
so I can focus my message to meet their needs and
expectations. I want you to feel completely comfortable
planning and arranging the success of your event,
so I might be interviewing several key individuals
of your choice for background material.
Can you present different programs on the
same day?
Yes. I'll deliver a keynote and then two breakout
sessions on totally different subjects, or two different
workshops on the same visit to create a better investment
for you.
What size audience are you comfortable with?
10 - 10,000. I’m comfortable with any size
group that fits your program needs.
Do you customize your talks?
Customize as in, I design each speech or workshop
around the information I gather from you, your key
people, and the experience I have in working with
similar organizations such as yours. I integrate
the information such as your industry's jargon (if
appropriate), your theme, and the major points you
want focused upon.
How do we know that you are the right speaker
for us?

What is your business background?
Before becoming a full-time speaker, I spent more
than 25 years as an entrepreneur in a service industry,
having owned my own business. I'm familiar with
administrative and such things as hiring and training
sales / service personnel. My current training has
been as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Master trainer
of NLP, and as a behavioral specialist, I work with
individuals in a therapeutic model of behavioral
change work. Specializing in Sales, NLP training's
and Communication Skills workshops.
Do you ever fly first class?
My clients invest in business class fares and whenever
applicable, first class. For this reason; if your
business is flying around the country, like it is
mine, then you would want your professional to be
well versed and refreshed before presenting to your

Audio
/ Video Requirements -
1.
John is an animated and exciting speaker. Please
be sure there is plenty of room for him to move
around the front of the stage, with access to
walk into the audience. If the head table is on
a riser or a stage, pull it back from the edge
to allow space for John to stand in front of it.
2.
John brings his own DPA headset, the premier headset
on the market. It is compatible with Shure, Sennheiser
and Audio-Technica wireless sound systems. If
the event location does not use either of these
then please have an alternative headset or lavaliere
available. Also a hand-held mic for back up purposes
and for audience participation.
3.
Please read John’s introduction
as is, or alter it VERY little. In all of our
speaking experience it works best exactly the
way it is written.
4.
If John is speaking at a luncheon or dinner meeting,
please order a FRUIT PLATE for him unless there
is a buffet.
5.
Try to have the group in a fun and exciting mood
before introducing your speaker. Sad announcements
or moments of silence for a recently departed
friend are appropriate, but not just before introducing
your speaker.
6.
John enjoys and would like to meet as many members
of the audience as possible. He will be more than
welcome to attend your social events, though if
requested, but please make arrangements to have
him in early the nite before he speaks for your
group.
7.
To maximize your investment in John or any other
speaker, please keep in mind that an extended
cocktail party is not a good start for your audience
or any speaker. Or It is not a good idea to have
your main speaker the last day
of a conference when everyone has been up very
late the night before.
8.
Awards or extended announcements — either
consider having your speaker first, or give the
audience a stretch break for a couple of minutes
before introducing the speaker. You want to keep
the participants fresh and excited.
9.
Hotels never think of the following, building
intimacy and rapport if:
• The audience is not very close to each
other, or to the speaker.
• Your audience is still eating during the
presentation.
• The entire room is not well lit. (consider
spotlights if available.)
10.
For any size audience, have the audience close
to the speaker.
11.
If the door at the back of the room closes loudly,
please have a door stop so that the door will
not be a distraction.

If the room is rectangular, this is the recommended
room set up:

SEATING: If the audience's chairs are chevroned
rather than straight rows, facing the stage will
be more comfortable.

In a meeting room where food is NOT served, if
possible, have tables in front of speaker, not
aisles:

The eye follows movement, not sound; if photos
are to be taken, never take them
during the first fifteen minutes of the presentation.
It will be too much of a distraction for your
audience and speaker. (when possible, we can take
"posed action" shots before or after
speech.)

A/V Recording Policy -
Recording is encouraged, you may
audio or videotape any of John's programs, although
a separate licensing agreement maybe required.
The licensing fee agreement is for any audiotaped
or videotaped programs which will be sold as a
product to audience attendees or any organizational
membership. Licensing fee (commissionable) charged
upon booking speaker, depending on usage of the
recording. And we do require a master copy of
ANY taped performances for business purposes at
our sole discretion.

B.O.R. Sales Policy
-
John
does not sell from the platform unless appropriate
and pre-approved. We do encourage advance group
purchase, IE; (book or CD program matched up to
his presentation) for entire audience, or we can
send-out offers in a pre and post-event mail order
newsletter with topics of discussion and high-lighting
your company values / information. We can also
include audio and video presentations within our
newsletters.
If
B.O.R.is apropriate, then we will require 2 8ft
tables for product display and at least one assistant
to help manage and help your clients purchase
products.
